The Bowers are now residents of Georgia! Despite the ruthless, scorching, mid-July summer heat, my husband and I (with the help of my amazing parents) made the move from Charleston, SC, to Atlanta, GA. We haven’t been here long, but Atlanta has already stolen our hearts. I love the wide variety of environments; city, mountains, and vineyards can all be found in Atlanta and its surrounding areas. A few of our favorite attractions so far are the Ponce City Market, the historic Marietta Square, and the nearby Amicalola Falls State Park!
One of my top priorities as we started settling down in our home was to start booking weddings again. Leaving the Charleston wedding scene behind was harder than I thought; I loved the plantation venues and waterfront settings. I had also bonded with many of the fantastic vendors there as well as my past clients- it was difficult to say goodbye! However, I’m thrilled to start providing beautiful wedding videography in Atlanta, GA, and meeting others involved in the wedding scene here. I’ve shot one wedding here in the past at the stunning Foxhall Resort in Douglasville, GA (watch the video if you missed it!) and I’ve already booked others- I’m so excited!
I’ve received plenty of questions about my services, so here are a few FAQs that I can answer for anyone interested in booking the best affordable wedding videography in Atlanta, GA!
3 Palmetto Films Frequently Asked Questions
1. Q: What Packages Do You Offer?
A: I really only have one package. For $800, I provide a full day of coverage, a highlight reel (like the ones seen on my Facebook page and website) and a flash drive of all the raw footage of your wedding day. However, I am more than happy to create a custom package for unique situations- just message me and we can work something out!
2. Q: Do You Travel?
A: Yes! However, any location that’s outside of a 1-hour radius of the Atlanta area will require a small travel fee. Special arrangements need to be made for any location over 3 hours away. (Again, feel free to contact me with any specific questions regarding location!)
3. Q: What Does the Raw Footage Look Like?
A: About 3-5 weeks after your wedding, I’ll send you a flash drive containing your highlight reel as well as all the raw footage of your wedding. The raw footage includes the video and audio of your entire ceremony as well as the big moments from your reception (i.e. your first dance, mother/son dance, father/daughter dance, cake cutting, toasts, bouquet/garter toss, guests dancing, sendoff, etc). The footage is organized into longer clips and usually adds up to about 1-2 hours of total footage.
